Following on from the unparalleled musical style that Uma showcases on her recent EP, The Dove and The Moth, she follows up with new release 'Maybe We'll Wake Up', a collaboration with Amy May Ellis. The recording feels very organic, capturing feather-light classical guitar plucks which are the melodic base for the vocals to reside. Amy May Ellis and Uma sing mostly in unison, the many layers of breathy harmonies creating a sense of warm nostalgia. 'Maybe We'll Wake Up' lands alongside a new version of her track 'Nebula'. Uma explains, “They were written in the heart of spring, on a boat in the middle of London...They are a memory of who we were at that time and who we have become, of our friendship and the moments we have shared throughout the years and across different towns and countries.” -Ellie Rose-Davies
